Prof. Dr. Fatma Nevra Seggie

Project Consultant Professor at Department of Educational Sciences, Boğaziçi University


Prof Dr Fatma Nevra Seggie is an Associate Professor of Educational Administration at the Department of Educational Sciences, Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey. She received her PhD from Michigan State University in 2007. Dr. Seggie's main research and teaching interests are higher education policy analysis and higher education governance and administration. She has published articles in journals such as Comparative Education, Higher Education, Race, Ethnicity and Education and Journal of College Student Development, and she is the author of "Religion and the State in Turkish Universities: The Headscarf Ban" published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2011. She also works on projects to develop curriculum and teaching and learning models for higher education institutions using Action Research as the research method and participatory methods as the data collection techniques.
